it's not compatible with asterisk-perl 0.09
i have centos4
it's replicable i.e. with agi-VDADcloser_inboundCID.agi

$AGI->stream_file('beep');
script freeze and do nothing
with asterisk-perl 0.08 system works ok
another story is app_conference. it's hanging my xen domU but this is not relative to vicidial

You are correct. It is not compatible with asterisk-perl 0.09(this is noted in the documentation)
As for app_conference, we do not recommend using it, there is still a major bug in it that will cause an Asterisk crash.

where? i cannot find it
put to the SCRATCH_INSTALL big red DO NOT USE asterisk-perl 0.09 please
i'm spent many hours trying to find this problem

it's only option for me on xen guest
ztdummy/meetme doesnt work on xen

As for app_conference, it should be functional, but I cannot find anyone who has the capability to debug the flaws with it to make it more reliable. It should work in lower call-volume setups, but it will crash if you give it enough calls over time.
