Time for AGPL :)

Hey Matt,

I've come across this site: http://www.safesoftsolutions.com/ Looks like they're using ViciDial based on the video demo of their system. I've learned from a client of ours, (that inquired about their service) that they claim it's their own proprietary system. Waddya think?

They have been around for quite a while, and actually I believe they are based on ViciDial 2.0.4 which is GPLv2, not AGPLv2, so we can't force them to disclose the source code unless they transfer it in some way to another entity.

If you look closely at the video you can see there are no 2.0.5 or newer features on there. They have heavily customized the agent screen and added their own CRM to it which would make it very difficult to use if you did get the altered vicidial code anyway.

They have a nice video though. Too bad they're using an older version of Vici. Would love to get our hands on their agent UI. :)

It is based on 3-year-old code(which is missing hundreds of new features) and their custom CRM is heavily integrated with it at this point, so it's not of much use to us. Also, this is only a hosted service, they do not offer to install this on-premises at all.
