Hi guys, newbie here and recently installed vicibox (clustered) with 40 agents. It runs smoothly after the installation for a month without having any issues on it, but lately i do encounter a lot of dead calls on all the campaign running. I did notice something that this dead calls happens on like time basis.. Below is the screenshot of deadcalls encounterd. Any possible info that causes this issue? thanks in advance.

No screenshot.

Post asterisk CLI from a dead call?

Also: You say dead calls ... but you do not state whether this is something agents are complaining about or if your agents are actually just walking away from their desks without logging out or dispo'ing the previous call (which WILL result in DEAD on the real time ...).

Other than seeing DEAD on the real time ... what are your observations regarding these situations? Agents still on the call (DEAD is then WRONG)? Agent unable to take another call? What?

Agents are not able take another call.. i notice about the asterisk that it did stop dialing when encounter dead calls then after a minute it would resume dialing and there's also a time that asterisk is dialing but 60% of the agents that are login was not able to take another call or receive a call and when i check the monitoring this agents status are all on a dead call..

Wow. Too many symptoms to get a good feel for it.

Full HD?

corrupt mysql table? (which can be caused by full HD)

Did you have a power outage?

Not enough bandwidth?

Does a full reboot resolve the issue?

Are your agents and servers in the same facility?

When you say stops dialing ... do you mean in the realtime screen view or asterisk's command line view?

Check /var/mail/root for error indications, also /var/log/astguiclient and /var/log/asterisk folders.

Ask your agents to pause their status when they leave their desk.

Also Teach them to dispose calls properly.

If you have 8MBPS or more, ISP is not the issue. Carrier might be an issue. Try to change the carrier and post the update...
