um ... change your user permissions? (and find out who changed it using the admin changes link at the bottom of the user?)

Just run this in MySQL:

update vicidial_user_groups set allowed_campaigns=' -ALL-CAMPAIGNS- -' where user_group='ADMIN';

I have installed vicibox 6.0 from ISO on a DEll T100 2GB Ram,Intel Xeon 3.0 processor, Version: 2.12b0.5 SVN Version: 2442, DB Schema Version: 1441, Asterisk Version: 1.8.29.0-vici no other software installed. After installation I enabled all permission on my user account.
I had this same problem where I couldnt see any campaign I created. I ran the update that Matt suggested and this did the trick. My question though why did this happen from a brand new installation from scratch? Is something broken in the installation? I had this problem before from a brand new installation but was able to figure it out without going to mysql and running any command. But this time nothing I tried worked. Thanks Matt.

I'd like to bet you a Pepsi that you broke the user settings when you "enabled all permissions". You likely modified the user group setting, which is a big no-no. Once you do this, you have set your user to only see campaigns assigned to that user group. And if there aren't any ... well, try this from now on: NEVER alter the user group of the user you are logged in as. In fact, never modify the user group of an administrator at all.

And if you'd like to test this theory, next time check the ability to modify campaigns before you "enable all permissions". Then be certain to ONLY modify the campaign permissions, and check again. You'll find that you now have permission to edit all campaigns. Then "enable all permissions" and see if it still works. If you avoid modifying the user group, it should work just fine.

And before you jump to any conclusions: Note that in any program/application/app you can break user permissions if you modify your own user settings without taking into account that some settings can Restrict your permissions.

We recommend that new administrators to ANY program (not just vicidial) create a new user, then log in as the new user, and then make all changes as that new user without ever altering the default admin user or logging in as the default admin user except for one thing: you log in as the default admin user ONLY to make and edit Other Users and their permissions. In some cases, you have a specific person assigned to this task to avoid "oops, I locked myself out!" moments. 8-) (Not that I have EVER locked myself out of any application ... nahhhh.)
