where is the mailing list?

I checked the box to join the mailing list when filling out the form to download the docs.

We are actually in the process of setting up the mailing list in the next month. We added that as an option to start getting a list for when it's ready.

awesome :)

While I appreciate that many like and prefer web interfaces, mailing lists are my preference.

I hope so. You haven't twittered (tweeted? twitted? whatever) in forever. LOL

What? Twitter? Geesh.

Hey, shouldn't there be an IRC channel, too?

Anyhow, I made a new "tweet" (??). I just got a 500 page Asterisk tome, but I'm hoping to use it for reference and/or doorstop.

No irc channel. That would end up with support requests and data that would never be visible on THIS site. Then support would splinter. Bad form. It's bad enough that gardo supports goautodial on a sep web site that often confuses people into thinking that his site is the support site for the dialer software (instead of for the OS and extras only). But whaddayagonnado. It keeps him lined with customers (who eventually come here if things get bad enough).
