AMD IS NOT DETECTING A ANSWER MACHINE PROVIDED BY MOBILE CEL

Postby sergio_lora » Tue Dec 16, 2014 4:14 pm

Hello

We are using VIcidial for a predictive campaign where we are using AMD that pretty much is detecting correctly the AM. We have a particular issue regarding an AM that is provided by Mobile company that is a mobile phone that has been disconnected or the number has changed, therefore immediate we get the message but AMD do not detect instead detect that the call has been established as we can see it in wireshark trace

the question here is, how can we solve this situation telling to vicidial AMD that that kind of messages are an AM instead human voice?

Thanks in advance

We don't recommend using built-in AMD, it's only 70-80% accurate at best and has a 20-30% false positive error rate. What that means is that at least 2 out of 10 humans you reach are coded as Answering machines. If you call to the USA, that is an illegal drop rate.

Thanks for your replay, we are not in US, we are in Mex.
Our customer does not have much money in their budget therefore they won't buy sangoma CPD.

So, have you any idea how can we workaround this issue?

Thanks
