Multiple outbound campaigns

Postby muyousif » Mon Nov 30, 2015 9:08 am

Hi experts, need a little bit help. I have one campaign with 100 agents and dialing at auto dial level 2. Two more campaigns with 2 and 5 agents respectively with auto dial level 2. Issue is agents in these two campaigns are getting calls very lately. It looks system is giving priority first campaign. Is there a way we can set priority for these campaigns so some other settings to manually give priority? Please help.

This depends greatly on how your system is configured. Is it multi server or solo config?

You can dedicate trunks to specific campaign in Server configuration settings. To do this go to Admin -> Servers, select the server you want to adjust and find "Add New Server Vicidial Trunk Setting" set number of trunks and campaign they will be reserved for.

If you are running multi-server setup, you may dedicate one or more "dialers" to dial for specific campaign.

Campaign dialing is not processed in parallel by vicidial, system completes required work in one "thread", this mean campaigns with lower id, will have priority. This can create issues with one camping absorbing all available trunks, leaving remaining campaigns starved. Trunk reservation(described above) will help address that.

Good luck.
