Nice write up Chris...does ViCiDial support 18 completely? I know mcargile was working on a fork of Asterisk 18 for ViCi but AFAIK it's still in active development. If you install a stock Asterisk release some ViCi things may start acting weird. Although I may try leapfrogging to 18 and seeing if stuff still works for experimenting :)

Me or the clients I have it on haven't tried any issues as of yet. Keyword: yet

Ahhhh that's good to know. I may leapfrog with ya at some point. Although I haven't seen an official thread on Asterisk 18 development from mcargile...I know work is being done on it. I guess we could be the guinea pigs :D

Kumba has ast18 on his sandbox folder on the vici repo so it's definitely where they are going.
