not wrkin properly

Postby vicinewbie » Fri Jul 07, 2006 5:05 am

Hi,
I have just installed vicidial 2 days back and am getin it 2 work somewhat..
i have a few questions
1. the conversaion is taking place between agent and zap customer in meetme but still agent screen pop shows zap custmoer hungup..
2. the autodial is set to 5 but still the next lead does not get dialled automatically..
3. if i put autodial to zero yet the agent screen does not show me dial next customer it still shows agent resume / pause..

this is a testbed with just one sipura agent and a zap pri line which are configured pretty properly..

tks,
vicinewbie

Postby vicinewbie » Fri Jul 07, 2006 7:55 am

[root@fedora root]# screen -r
There are several suitable screens on:
5655.ASTsend (Detached)
5660.ASTsend (Detached)
5646.ASTlisten (Detached)
5651.ASTlisten (Detached)
Type "screen [-d] -r [pid.]tty.host" to resume one of them.

yes i have read the free versions of the manuals specified by u..

looks like you have WAY too many screens running there. What linux distro are you using?

please post the contents of your live_channels and live_sip_channels tables when you are in a conversation on vicidial.

You will need to run "/home/cron/AST_update.pl --debugX" from command line while there are calls active and post the output because something is misconfigured on your system.

Looks like you did not apply the asterisk "concise" patch as defined in the SCRATCH_INSTALL:

- wget http://www.eflo.net/files/cli_chan_conc ... iter.patch
- patch -p1 < ./cli_chan_concise_delimiter.patch
- File to patch: cli.c

then make clean, make, make install asterisk

Also, you need to make sure that the keepalive scripts that you have in the crontab and properly starting the AST_ scripts(like AST_update.pl)

What version of MySQL are you using?

I had not installed the patch .. i did now but it still is not helping me with the problem i had of vicidial giving a pop up after 60 seconds that zap channel is busy even though the call was answered(it shows live call on top)then after tha(60 secs)t the live call signal vanishes..
even if the zap call is hung up within the first 60 seconds it is not detected by vici

i dont know how the automatic dialer is to work bcause it says resume/pause but no calls come after that..

i have to logoff and login again to be able to test tomake a new cal everytime

the mysql version i am running is 4.0.26

i run all the following scripts mentioned in scratch_install

/home/cron/ADMIN_keepalive_AST_update.pl
/home/cron/ADMIN_keepalive_AST_send_listen.pl
/home/cron/ADMIN_keepalive_AST_VDautodial.pl
/home/cron/AST_manager_kill_hung_congested.pl
/home/cron/AST_conf_update.pl
/home/cron/AST_flush_DBqueue.pl -q
/home/cron/AST_VDhopper.pl -q
/home/cron/AST_DB_optimize.pl

for manual dial do i need to run the hopper script to ?

thanks
really appreciate it

Are you dialing a real number or are you really dialing 17275551213?

The AST_VDhopper.pl needs to run to put leads in the hopper to dial for both manual and auto dialing.

Can you post some Real Asterisk CLI output(asterisk -vvvvvvvvvvvvgc)?

Your calls to the fake number are being immediately hungup. Is there any way you can test on a live line?

That error is fine and is nothing to worry about.

The calls are not being hung.. the computer on the other side has an automated script running..i hung up that call manually after 30 seconds..
anyway i just jumped from the frying pan into the fire..
now i am not getting the hopper script to load any new leads into the vicidial_hopper table...

Just to elaborate further
it is not a fake line... i am dialing from my asterisk box using t1 zap line.... into another pc having a telephony card...
It answers the call perfectly fine ..
If needed then i can attach an fxo line but that wont be zap an fxo device tat i possess..
