VICIDial compatibility

Which version of VICIdial is compatible with Asterisk PBX version 1.6?

None. We do not feel Asterisk 1.6 is stable enough yet for high-volume call center use. When there are still CRASH level bugs in the 1.6 codebase affecting voicemail, music on hold and other core applications it is not really in a place to be stable in the enterprise.
We currently recommend Asteirsk 1.4.21.2 with several patches. This version has proved stable in high-volume setups handling hundreds of thousands of calls per day.
There are also other issues with the backward compatibility of some features and protocols that need to be worked out in Asterisk 1.6 before ViciDial will work properly with it.
Can I ask why you want to use Asterisk 1.6?

Thanks for the information. Sorry for not replying back for a long time. We heard that Asterisk 1.6 does have support for video chat and thats why we would like to go for that
