Hi There
I am sorry if this was asked before but I cant seem to find the exact requirement I am after.
I have to change my server as it is getting a little jittery and requiring more reboots then I would like.
the problem I am facing is the current vicidial is 7 and the only download I can get is vicidial 9. I have backed up all the data from the vicidial 7 but it is not loading up correctly onto the 9.
I think the best solution is either
1 Upgrade the exisiting system to V9 first (after updating) - just a little worried then if there is an issue I am in trouble
2 Get a V7 download and create the new system and backup all the information and start the upgrade on the new server with all the information uploaded (but cant find the v7 download)
Which idea would work best? Any advice would be really appreciated

did you run the mysql upgrade script after you restored the data? I have the instructions how to do this on my blog at http://the.cyburhacker.com - search for back and restore vicidial
