Mysql.sock location hard coded?

Postby middletn » Mon May 05, 2008 4:58 pm

Hi,

I'd like to use the default location of mysql.sock (/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock) so as to maintain compatability with other applications.

Is this hard coded in to Vicidial, If so can someone point me to where this may be?

regards

I believe this is a DBD::mysql perl module default, although you can specify it when you create a new connection so it should not be difficult to change if you need to. Another easy way of dealing with that file in a different location is just to do a symbolic link.
