Hi,
Could someone please help me make zaptel compilation work? I do have 2.6.18-53.el5 installed on my box but get this message and can't move forward with the scratch installation.
"You do not appear to have the sources for the 2.6.18-53.el5 kernel installed (under /lib/modules/2.6.18-53.el5/build)."
Thank you for your time and assistance in advance.
Regards,
Lay

What version of zaptel are you trying to compile?

I tried to install zaptel-1.2.21.tar.gz first, then tried zaptel-1.2.27, zaptel-1.2.9.1. Those attempts didn't solve the same error.
Thanks very much in advance.

You need to have the kernel devel package installed. Based on the kernel version you have, you're using CentOS as your linux distribution.
Install it with the following command: yum -y kernel-devel
