I have setup a new vicibox install and i am using the remote agent login through [trunkinbound]
exten => 2345,1,Answer ; Answer the line
exten => 2345,2,AGI(agi-AGENT_dial_in.agi)
exten => 2345,3,Hangup
The problem we are having is agents are logging in and taking a call or 2 and then they are showing up as paused but on their crm screen it does not show they are paused. I can't figure out why this is happening I saw a few posts about it but the only solutions were to install 2.0.5 which i am already using.
I don't know where to look to figure this out but here is what I have for equipment.
I have a (2) x 3.0ghz dual core processors w/ 4 gigs of memory and 15k rpm SAS drives. I have my agents dialing into the server and logging into the webpage over the internet.
Any suggestions?

some more information i had all the agents log off and had only 5 login. now the system arrears to be running fine with only 5 agents. We are going to slowly add agents 1 by 1 and see where it starts to break down. I think it is either bandwidth or cpu limitations so I am trying to narrow it down.
Okay we got it up to 8 agents and it seems to be working fine. Now I thinking about it I noticed the realtime campaign display was running really really slow before when we had all the agents logged in. It basically was not updating. I don't know if that would be related to CPU or bandwidth?
This is the current usage
8 agents logged in on all servers
System Load Average: 0.93

Most likely it is bandwidth, but just to rule out a database issue you shoul leave mtop up and running in a terminal window so you can see what is going on with the database.

okay i did some bandwidth tests and it seems normal but a little slow. Here are some more symptoms when an agent dispos a call it sometimes is taking almost 20 seconds for the agent to dispo the call. It is not happening constantly but pretty frequently. Right now we only have 5 agents running on it and we are still having some problems with paused agents and dispositioning calls.

yeah i was watching it but we only had a few people running on it and I was not sure what to look for this is the first time I am using this tool. It didn't look like too much was going on most of the time it was just root and localhost in query command state. What should I be looking for?

You should look to see if the queries in mtop start to change colors. You also might want to enable slow query logging in Mysql
