Campaign setting: Manual preview Dial: PREVIEW_AND_SKIP

HI,
we have set the 'Manual preview dial' setting to PREVIEW_AND_SKIP.
If I SKIP one Lead by pressing "Dial Next Number" the Lead will be set to Status ERI.

Is it possible to change the "default-status ERI" for that action to something else?

How do you handle Leads, you don't want to call and skip them in Manual dial mode?

The help says:
"Manual Preview Dial - This allows the agent in manual dial mode to see the lead information when they click Dial Next Number before they actively dial the phone call. There is an optional link to SKIP the lead and move on to the next one if selected. Default is PREVIEW_AND_SKIP. "

I don't see the possibilty to SKIP the lead other then just using "dial next number"...
