Recordings management help

Postby kjburto » Fri Dec 16, 2016 12:26 pm

We currently have a sales campaign and then a campaign for closers where the agent will close the order and then verify the order on recording. We want to be able to record regular sales calls for training purposes and also record the closer calls all while keeping the verification portion of the close separate from the close portion of the call. What is the best way to keep these call recordings separate from each other. We are also currently automatically moving the recordings to our FTP archive server.

So I guess my questions are...

Can we keep these recordings separate from each other?

Can we archive the recordings from sales and closing into separate folders or locations?

Is there some support we can purchase to accomplish this? Will it require custom coding in order to accomplish?

Any and all help is really appreciated.

Okay so I ran the following script and it seems everything was exported to the drive. Samll issue is the recordings seem to have transferred but when I click on one to listen I get an error and the file size is 0. Any ideas on why the recordings would transfer but not work?

/usr/share/astguiclient/AST_VDsales_export.pl --date=2016-12-21 --filename=test --campaign=35_PMS_N --sale-statuses=XFER --ftp-transfer --ftp-audio-transfer --ftp-server=192.168.1.2 --ftp-login=xxxxxxx --ftp-pass=xxxxxxxxxx --ftp-dir=REPORTS

If I recall correctly: The vicidial server you run the script on must have access to the audio files as if web surfing from that location and clicking a link on the web interface after searching for a lead.

Try "wget" while in the /tmp folder on an example file. If this fails, then the server can't get the file and may be the cause of your zero length files.

Code: Select all
cd /tmp
wget http://path.from.web,page/filename_from_web_page.mp3
