Getting Nat Port in rport in REGISTER packet

Postby jerryriggin » Tue Mar 21, 2017 1:15 am

I am trying to get Vici to register with Rport, but either I'm not doing it right or the carrier (Telnyx) is ignoring it.

I'm building a cluster virtual lab environment. I have 2 dialers (Asterisk 11.25.1-vici), SQL & Web all on version VERSION: 2.12-552a BUILD: 160429-0835

I am not able to get a response to a REGISTRATION challenge back to Vicidial.
Here's what I'm sending:
96.59.20.37.50061 > 192.76.120.10.5060: [udp sum ok] SIP, length: 395
REGISTER sip:sip.telnyx.com SIP/2.0
Via: SIP/2.0/UDP 96.59.20.37:5060;branch=z9hG4bK6ceee497;rport
Max-Forwards: 70
From: <sip:VDC24Reg@sip.telnyx.com>;tag=as67bed9ac
To: <sip:VDC24Reg@sip.telnyx.com>
Call-ID: 4fc6eec97f0ac88c2ca1e7e33da1090c@127.0.0.2
CSeq: 236 REGISTER
User-Agent: Asterisk PBX 11.25.1-vici
Expires: 120
Contact: <sip:VDC24Reg@96.59.20.37:5060>
Content-Length: 0

Note the Contact parameter is 5060, yet rport is 50061.

Here's what I get back:
192.76.120.10.5060 > 96.59.20.37.5060: [udp sum ok] SIP, length: 472
SIP/2.0 401 Unauthorized

So the response is not making it back to the originating port, 50061 and is instead going to 5060, so pfSense doesn't know what to do with it.

Is there a way to get rport into contact? Or is Telnyx just wacked? (Seems to work fine with Vitleity)

Thanks for any suggestions!
