agc/vicidial.php

Postby JR » Sun Sep 10, 2006 2:19 pm

We have created users, remote users and campaign in ViciDial admin but when we try to access http://ourip/agc/vicidial.php - we are getting an error saying: Login incorrect, please try again.

We have tried this with different users and still get the same error on the browser. What can we be doing wrong? We are logging in from different IP's including the Asterisk server IP. Please advice. Thanks

We are currently using the following:

VERSION: 1.1.85 BUILD: 60619-1047

During the first log in attempt in http://ourip/agc/vicidial.php, it usually takes the phone login and phone password. When we come to the next screen where it asks for other ids including Campaign is where we get the error saying "Login incorrect, please try again." Initially, that was the entire error on the browser. When we re-try even by changing users - it keeps on giving the same error.

We have created users and assigned phone id's and pw's in ViciDial Admin (http://ourip/vicidial/admin.php?ADD=1) but now we keep on getting the folowing error:

Login Error

Sorry, your phone login and password are not active in this system, please try again:

Please advice.

Please post the following MySQL output:
Select login_user,login_pass from phones;
Select user,pass from vicidial_users;

And post what you are trying to login with both phone and user.

We did enter user id's and passwords for our phone. It seems that its not storing that or connecting with the database. Is there a way to confirm that?

Thanks

what did you enter for those values?

You can see if they went in my simply running the queries I posted.

We entered the phone login id and passwords when we created new users.

We also added phone id's when we added new phones?

Earlier we used to be able to access the pages without even adding New Phones.

How do we make sure that we have configured it right? Which files should we double check?

Thanks

check the Phone Login and Phone Pass fields in the "modify phone" section of the astguiclient/admin.php page.

We did that too but are getting the same error. Is there a way to double check if we installed everything correctly in the back end? Thanks again.

Hi All,

I'm getting the same issue as above.

I've followed the suggestions from Matt and no joy.

I've checked the Phone login and phone pass fields and they are showing as 'null' in the database.

It's probably me being a numpty so all suggestions welcome :-)

astguiclient version?

Do you have any output from any of the queries mentioned or the asterisk CLI?

what is the output from "screen -r"?

Hi Matt,

I checked the build and found that my astguiclient folder was empty. This has me thinking that I've messed up the install.

I've wiped the server and I'm starting from scratch.

I'll follow the document religiously and if I get the same issue I'll update this post.
