"List ID Override" not working when I use custom template

Greetings,

I'd create a Custom Template in order to load leads faster than using Custom Layout. This template was linked to List ID 1001. Uploading works good, my custom fields are populated with no mistakes. The only trouble is with the field List ID Override; no matter what list I'd selected, all leads are loaded into List ID 1001. I would like to know if there is some bug in my version, if I'm doing something wrong, or if I didn't understand well the List ID Override function.

P.D: I can move leads from one list to another using advanced lead tools, but this is extra work for my supervisor, and I think it could be done with the related option.

Regards.

This bug was reported by myself some years ago and was fixed with revision 2525 from 4-29-2016. Your build version is from 2014, please upgrade. Look here:

I would recommend you to upgrade. Your version is pretty old. There are so many new features and fixed security issues or bugs.
But it's up to you. You will find many posts about it, e.g. http://www.vicidial.org/VICIDIALforum/viewtopic.php?t=16326
What is your "admin_listloader_fourth_gen.php" version (take a look in the file: $version = 'xx';$build = 'xx';)?

Hi blackbird2306,

Thanks for your quick response. Tell me if I can upgrade to latest version without too much troubles or if do you think, I must only apply the patch.

Thanks in advance.

My advice:

1) Install Vicibox from the latest .iso into a hardware based server.

2) Backup your DB on the Goautodial server

3) Restore your DB on the Vicibox server you just built.

4) Upgrade the DB on the Vicibox server.

5) Run the IP update script. Edit the settings in admin->servers and admin->system settings.

6) Reboot

Advantages of this plan: Your new server will have much more power and you have NO risk of breaking the old system. You can also compare the two side-by-side (impossible if they are in the same virtual machine).

If you choose to upgrade in place, of course, be sure you snapshot before you begin. Just in case.

Just my opinion, though. 8-)

Hi William,

Finally I did remove GoAutodial and made a fresh install of Vicibox_8. I bought the admin manual too, so, I will test the "List ID Override" feature and tell you what happened. Thanks.
