I have tried to use custom MOH audio files but i can not hear any sound when i park the call. Only inbuilt files (wav and gsm) are working fine. The audio files i uploaded is not working. I have followed instruction and get the audio files converted from digium website, also used audacity to convert files as per format given (16bit Mono 8k PCM WAV). I have also used sox to convert files (SoX version 14.4.2) but nothing helped.
I have changed and selected diffrent audio files which were present in the system as default installtion. They are working fine.
There are no errors in Asterisk Log. Central Audio store is activated. No anamoly seen in file permission and ownership.
I have made changes for HTTP port and allowed in susefirewall.
Please help me to get this issue fixed.

A common error is including the extension in the filename in the Vicidial field. It's not suppose to be there as the system will choose an extension based on the live channel being played into (ie: If it's a GSM channel, it'll "prefer" GSM). This reduces overhead by auto-selecting the closest match to a channel.

Failing that, your sample shows only sip-silence playing or attempting to play ... so it's also possible you've not really put any sounds into your Custom MOH. Although it likely doesn't list individual MOH sounds, so perhaps not.

I've also had situations where the Firewall blocked the server from loading audio files from the upload folder to the sounds folder in asterisk (which it does using the same store link you use, but if you're allowed through the firewall, and it's not ... it won't get the files so they'll never play!). You can manually copy them from the audio store folder to the sounds folder, or just open that firewall.

Hello,
I have checked there is no issue with firewall and file extension.
The problem was with http port. I have changed the deafult http port and when i was running /usr/share/astguiclient/ADMIN_audio_store_sync.pl --debugX
the audio files were not bieng transfered. i checked the code and found issue that it just fetched the server ip but not the port. i had to use the default http port in listen.conf and ran the command "ADMIN_audio_store_sync.pl" and bingo it worked.

I would suggest it would be great if there is any way to not use the default http port and also make sure files inside "/usr/share/astguiclient/" run properly without bieng modified.

1) This is not the "suggestion" site. That is aka the Issue Tracker and is available here: http://www.vicidial.org/VICIDIALmantis/

2) You could sponsor this new feature by contacting sales at The Vicidial Group directly. That is one way to guarantee it gets done (and very likely to your specifications, since you'd be the sponsor). You can also hire someone like PoundTeam (where I work), of course. Just be sure to also request DIFFs be submitted after production completes so The Vicidial Group may include it in a later version (with DIFFs against the latest version, that's the best chance of inclusion).

3) The files inside /usr/share/astguiclient don't need adjustment. You're just weird. They work for everyone else. lol 8-)
