Hi,

I realized that when we make calls via Vicidial, all calls are recorded. But if I dial directly with our softphone like X-Lite. Calls are logged but it's not recorded. How do you turn recording on even if you use the dialer directly?

My Vicidial Version is :
Vicidial 8
VERSION: 2.14-678a
BUILD: 180613-0943

1) Good job posting your Vici Version with Build.

2) "Almost" good job with your installer (Installer version is always X.X.X, in your case obviously 8.X.X, but you left off the X.X: Please commence hanging your head in shame ... except I guess you tried so maybe not )

3) All calls are only recorded if you set it to be so.

4) Recording calls made through asterisk (manual dial without the agent screen, outside Vicidial) is an option. It's in the Vicidial Manager's Manual. Or there's this post: http://www.vicidial.org/VICIDIALforum/v ... =4&t=25212
