1) Welcome to the Party! 8-)

2) As you are obviously new here, I have some suggestions to help us all help you:

When you post, please post your entire configuration including (but not limited to) your installation method (7.X.X?) and vicidial version with build (VERSION: 2.X-XXXx ... BUILD: #####-####).

This IS a requirement for posting along with reading the stickies (at the top of each forum) and the manager's manual (available on EFLO.net, both free and paid versions)

You should also post: Asterisk version, telephony hardware (model number is helpful here), cluster information if you have one, and whether any other software is installed in the box. If your installation method is "manual/from scratch" you must post your operating system with version (and the .iso version from which you installed your original operating system) plus a link to the installation instructions you used. If your installation is "Hosted" list the site name of the host.

If this is a "Cloud" or "Virtual" server, please note the technology involved along with the version of that techology (ie: VMware Server Version 2.0.2). If it is not, merely stating the Motherboard model # and CPU would be helpful.

Similar to This:

Vicibox X.X from .iso | Vicidial X.X.X-XXX Build XXXXXX-XXXX | Asterisk X.X.X | Single Server | No Digium/Sangoma Hardware | No Extra Software After Installation | Intel DG35EC | Core2Quad Q6600

3) While there are rules and general concepts, configuring a carrier is different for each carrier.

4) The general concepts are covered in the Vicidial Manager's Manual.

5) As you are new here: I'll give you the BEST advice you can get on how to make this work without spending money and actually know what you're doing:

Before you begin any of this, use the .iso installer at Vicibox.com and the PDF on that site for the basic install. Once that's completed:

First: Download the "Vicidial Manager's Manual", both paid and free versions are available on the site. I HIGHLY recommend the paid version. The Free version has everything you need to get started, but once you start making money with it the paid version has an extra 200 pages of "how tos" that will make your life easier.

Second: Start at page one of that manual. Do NOT skip anything. Every exercise. You will be tempted to skip something you don't need or already know. Slap yourself. Do it anyway. Trust me, and remember this is FREE so it's really just a matter of getting the information and practice you need.

Third: Start over. Never fear the reinstall. Installing from start to finish several times removes the magic and turns it into "just another thing you know how to do". Do this NOW before your server is live and you have paychecks depending on it. It is very unlikely you'll enjoy reinstalling during a workday if you have a sudden need to do it later. This is especially true if you've NOT done it now without the pressure and the reinstall should or must be done NOW (dead HD, actual problem with the install, whatever). Installing Vicidial can be very easy after you've done it a few times without idling your facility.

End: While you are working your way through the manual (first, second, third time?) and bump into a problem, post a new thread describing your problem in the subject line (like: Carrier Registration Fail?). Post your manual version, page and line and what you Expected to happen and what Really happened (or didn't! lol). Also post your configuration settings (relevent, according to the manual) and any logs or asterisk CLI output you believe to be relevant. When posting logs or output: Be sure to capture the entire call (start to finish) of a TEST call and do not include 3000 lines of unrelated code/output (we don't need to see 2950 lines of other calls to discuss how YOUR call progressed, nobody will read through that).

Someone will walk you through your problem IF you provide enough information to make it possible for one of us to look at your information and think, "Hey, I can answer that".

Of course, you CAN just post the equivalent of "um, my car not work, plz help" and hope someone takes pity on you. I suspect you'll get a MUCH better response if you do the legwork and allow us to be lazy while simply imparting our experience (which is the only thing you presently lack).

8-)

I'm sorry, do not explain me well.
the question is how do I configure my VOIP provider.
he just gave me the password and host user data.
he also gave me a record chain example;
register => xxxxxxxx: xxxxxxxxxx@172.178.98.67
I use a version of vicidial vicibox v8_1.x86_64-8.1.2

Most of the time username, password and domain it is enough to setup your sip trunk. If you re not sure first test that information with a softphone and if works just use with Asterisk
