Manager's Manual a requirement, have you read the manual?

I saw a lot of post asking basic questions that is addressed in the Manager's Manual. I suggest that you guys read it first when you wanted to do some configurations.

the Manager's manual comes with 2 flavors the free and the paid manual. The free manual contains some basic information and the paid one have more details and screenshots on how to manage the VICIDIAL.

and by purchasing the Manager's Manual, you also help the development of VICIDIAL.

and also do not forget to have the agents read the agent's manual before having them use VICIDIAL. It will make your job a lot easier.

The Agent and Manager Manual can be purchased and Downloaded at www.eflo.net

*note the manager's manual and agent's manual is not GPL. please do not distribute it without any consent from the author (matt florell)

I edited this post so that people will know that the manager's manual is a requirement.

i have purchased both the agent and manager manuals in an earlier iteration and was also notified when the latest version was available - the information in there is incredibly valuable and easy to follow, plus purchasing them assists in compensating the developers. if nothing else, purchase them to show your support.

Hello Matt,

I've been using vicidial from quite some time now and I've been feeling kind of a leech here. Finally I've come up with something that might be useful for making the project better. I've a 90% agent manual in spanish with screenshots (in spanish).

I don't really know how to give you this? email it? upload it somewhere? Also i have noticed that there are several translations (for example the word SCRIPT here is translated to ESCRITURA which normally means WRITING... using GUION would make more sense) that i would like to collaborate but dont really know how to go about it. I've read the Wiki but i cannot make much sense out of it.

Thank you,

Alejandro

Thank you very much for your offer of help with the project!

You can contact me off-list at vicidial@gmail.com.

You can attach the manual changes to an email, and you can send a separate email with the translations corrections.

What country are you from?

Have you read it?...

I do, and it's need a bit more of detail and improvement.
Since it's cost 100 bucks. Or it's the Vicidial price?... Oooppss. may both.

We would really prefer to have the agent and admin web interfaces translated into a language before attempting to tackle the Manuals.

Here is an explanation of how to go about translating the web interfaces:

Matt,

Urdu language is Right to Left, Will it support properly in vicidial??

The way the translation works is just by replacing entire phrases, so there shouldn't be a problem in most cases then. Try the agent interface first and we will see how it turns out.

I have Bought It....

As I always tell people during training about the manuals: "I don't mind if you fall asleep reading it, because I fell asleep writing it" :)
