Dynportal to Whitelist?

Postby carpenox » Thu Jun 11, 2020 8:34 pm

When a user logs in through the dynamic good guys portal, does this add the users IP to the whitelist in vicidial Ip list? Or where exactly does it go?

If it's anything like Dynamic Good Guys, it goes into a temporary device that holds IPs. This device is cleared when networking, the firewall, or the server is restarted.

DGG also stores it in a table so it can be made permanent by changing the "temporary" field to "N". Anything with a "Y" in that field is forgotten overnight during reboot (on purpose for mobile users and others whose IPs may change).
