Agent Pause and Resume recording

Hey Mates,

Just wondering if we have feature of pausing a recording and resuming, having the same recording like it's not broken down in two recordings. I did not see anything in the VICIDIAL Docs and forum where someone did it. Does anyone know what would be involved for us to make this change or have suggestions?
currently we have one recording feature added (which records whole call). but we want to record just a part of the recording (having pause and resume feature for this call recording) along with the initial recording feature and even if this is all done will the initial recording be affected in any ways?

we have the "Recording Mute" feature, and you can enable it in System Settings:

Allow Mute Recordings -
This option if enabled allows you to enable the MUTE RECORDING button on the agent screen by campaign and-or user. This feature is only tested with systems running Asterisk 13. You should not mute recordings for more than 15 minutes at a time. Default is 0 for disabled.

Although I couldn't find it in the System settings.

That feature was added in March 2019. You would need to upgrade VICIdial on your system to have that feature available.

I was just Wondering If we update the system, and have Allow Mute Recordings System settings, how will it work?
Is there Agent or Non-Agent API Function? Or how can we communicate with that system setting with our application?

It's a separate button on the agent screen. There is currently no API function for it.
