Does anyone know how many users the viciphone supports on a dial-server? because i have lagged users with 23 viciusers :(

Ive had up to 65, whats your bandwith on the server for down/up ?

what versión of viciphone recommend me?

you recommend me upgrade my packs with zypper?

you reccomendme upgrade my vicidial versión ?


apparently my network is ok, my pings respond with low latency

i suggest either cabrera version or my tweaked version at https://www.github.com/carpenox/CyburPhone

and yes i zypper up everyday to keep my systems secure. as well as svn update

i have a cluster with vicibox 9.01 , with db , web, dial ... if i want to upgrade to 9.03 .... What do I have to do?

is posible install a second dial server with 9.03, I mean, a mix? :D

you can, there really isnt much of a difference if you are updating your subversion level. But yes you can mix the 2 to answer your question

i restart my cluster every morning at 6am and then run updates both for server and for vicidial, check my security logs for hack attempts, run a rootkit scanner(chrootkit), clamscan(antivirus) and then leave each server running either htop or asterisk within putty, along with realtime screens of different campaigns on separate monitors in my office, to monitor thru a sort of NOC room

how many servers do you have?

thats just my personal method, u technically dont need to restart other than maybe for kernel updates or memory leaks.

I would recommend you try the 2.1 branch of Viciphone (https://github.com/ccabrerar/ViciPhone/tree/v2.1) which as of now has the most features and bug fixes.

BTW, LAGGED status has nothing to do with Viciphone. LAGGED means your agent is experiencing web connection issues (ej. HTTP/HTTPS), and as such is not reaching the server on time. This can be due to poor network conditions, agent switching to another tab/window, or congestion in the webserver on Vicidial's end.

After Viciphone's code is served, it's a direct browser to Asterisk connection.

I currently have the viciphone running from the cloud Webphone URL : " https://phone.viciphone.com/viciphone.php" in system settings

version 2.1 runs from the cloud or do I have to install it on the server?

if i install viciphone 2.1 in the server , How much will it affect the performance of the server?

I have solved the issue of lagged users, I don't know why, but it was solved by deleting the windows 10 profile and recreating it again. the version was 20h2,you have had problems with this operating system?

If you are taking the code from Github you need to install it in your own server and run it from there. Github doesn't provide a CDN from which it can run.

Performance won't be affected at all. Code is only downloaded once at agent's first login, it is not a "service" which is being executed continuously: it's just code being served by Apache, and all the work is done inside the agent's browser.

thank you I am going to test the viciphone 2.1 and give you feedback

Regarding the issue of lagged users ... my agents minimize the tab where it is vicidial and open another tab in chrome to see other crm's and other things, you mentioned that the change of tabs affects, will this affect me too?
