voice in French Language

how can I have the conference's voice in french ?

I have donwloaded the french sound package, I have copy the file in the sound fr directory.
In asterisk I have all sounds in french.
But for the vicidial's conference I have the sound in english .

The default language for a particular channel is set in that channel's configuration file. Look for a setting like:

language=en

You may specify any text (up to 20 characters long) as the language code. When playing sounds from the /var/lib/asterisk/sounds directory, Asterisk will look for a subdirectory with the same name as the currently selected language.

there are already some files with asterisk, but to record the whole asterisk is quite huge.

if I could get a list which are the audio files specific to vicidial, I could try to record them by myself

I don't think we have a comprehensive list of prompts used anywhere, you should just look in the dialplan and in the AGI scripts (STREAM_FILE) for any listed recordings that we use.

I got a similar issue (french language not working, still in english) as the people above.

Does someone succedded to solve it ?

By the way I found a good french prompt which I give to people who want it. Does there is anyway to put them in a public vicidial repository ?
