We have a problem in our load balancing set-up.
Below is the details.:
TWO VICDIAL SERVER LOAD BALANCING SET-UP
SERVER A:
OS: CENTOS 4.4
ASTGUICLIENT: 2.0.3
ASTERISK: 1.2.24
VARACTIVE KEEPALIVE PROCESSES: 1234567
CRONS: All cronjobs are installed
SERVER B:
OS: CENTOS 4.4
ASTGUICLIENT: 2.0.3
ASTERISK: 1.2.24
VARACTIVE KEEPALIVE PROCESSES: 12346
CRONS: cronjobs not included are:
- AST_VDhopper.pl
- AST_cleanup_agent_log.pl
- ADMIN_adjust_GMTnow_on_leads.pl
- AST_DB_optimize.pl
- AST_VDadapt.pl
- AST_VDauto_dial_FILL.pl
We followed your configs on iax.conf and extensions.conf for the two servers.
Load Balance Overflow is working properly. Calls were routed to the other server properly.
SCENARIO:
Agent1 logins in server A.
Agent2 logins in server B.
They both click resume button to receive calls.
If Agent1 received calls initiated by serverA, it runs smoothly and calls are disposed properly.
If Agent2 received calls initiated by serverB, it runs smoothly and calls are disposed properly.
THE PROBLEM OCCURS WHEN:
Agent1 received calls initiated by serverB which are also overflowed calls from serverB, when agent1 disposed the call by clicking the hangup button and choose dispositon status, the calls still remain on the conference which means that calls did not hangup and agent1 goes back to the ready mode.
Same scenario also when agent2 received calls initiated by serverA.
