Im trying to have a multi-server setup with the ff specs:
3 Clone desktop(asterisk+vicidial) + 1 Clone desktop(mysql+apache)
-P4 2.66GHz
-1024MB RAM
-SATA HD

using:
SIP & IAX
ztdummy
g.729(3 asterisk+vicidial servers)

any idea what would be the threshold of agents having 3:1 dialing ratio?
10-20 agents?

Using G729 will be your big limiter here, I would guess that you could handle 10 agents cleanly per server(30 agents total) with those specs if you aren't doing any recording.

You really just need to try it out and see how machine load and audio quality do.
