8366 survey not working when dialing out

Hello, and tanks to all of you regarding the developpement of this wonderfull software.
i had setup a copy of VICIDIAL 2.0.5.121, following scratch install from A to Z, i am using merelly SIP trunk to dial out campaings, however, when i try to use the survey script with is a political like survey, it dial out the leads, but , when some one pick up the phone , there is no audio comming out, and line is sudently disconnected.
However, when i dial locally from extension spa2000 to 8366 there is audio , ( political survey campaing audio with multi choice ) and everithing seem to work.
why and what should i do in able to make peoples heard the survey ?

astguiclient version?

Asterisk CLI output when this happens?

agiout.2008-02-XX output for the SURVEY script when this happens?

i get to point, that i have presently, asterisk 1.2.24, same like scratch install, i had respect all that you said in scratch install.
Next are the CLI on theasterisk when auto dialing to make a survey ( 8366) :

i get to mention by the way, that, when i use the extension 2000 instead of 8366 into the VDA campaing, it work, asking the party to live a message and press the pund key when finish.

again, if i dial the extension 8366 fromthe spa2000 it ask to participate into the political survey, however, if working calling the leads, it does not say anything.

Have you tried the sip-silence versions of the extensions that are in the sample extensions.conf file at the bottom?

I ask again, can you post some agiout.2008-02-XX logfile output?

You need to set AGI output for your server to BOTH or FILE for this file to be written to.

Hello all, Work arround and making few modifications to whatever installed from scratch install explanation, all finally working properly, but still testing.
we been conducting in a testing bais, 120 seats, on a stress test , and everiting work greate so far.
i will finish all testing, and post all the modification i had made.
i am purelly working with SIP only, there is not other special hardware or digium card involved.
by the way, to thes who really want to enjoy this wonderfull software, i strongly recommand to do everithing from scratch as explained by Mr. Florell, and use REDHAT 5 instead of centos 4, Redhat have a very nice GUI windows like, and, there is not problem at all to SSH and transfer files., i do not say that CENTOS 5 is bad, but is a pain specially for thes, starting as a new users.
VICIDIALNOW is a great job, and GOD bless thes who come up with the idea, but i will tested later on to see how good it is and post all details in here.

CentOS is basically RedHat without the brand, logo and the costs. So that means that the gui you have on RedHat, CentOS also has. CentOS is 99% compatible if not 100% with RedHat. The equivalent of RedHat 5 is CentOS 5. You shouldn't have had any problems using CentOS as the base for your Vicidial installation.
