What do you think about fixing conference number

Postby erwan » Fri Mar 28, 2008 10:20 am

For several reasons, temporary server overload, user sadly logout, ... i've got some mess in meetme (expl: more than one user in conf, more than one customer, ...)

Thats why i think it would be great to fix meetme extension.

What do you think about that ?? Can this may cause some problem ???

Would you fix it per phone or per user?

So when you create a new user you would need to assign a conference number (and server on multi-server systems) to them, and when they left you would need to manually release that conference number. This could work, but in most cases it would require more manual work to administrate and possibly more conference numbers on each system to accomodate the number of agents.

I think that in any case, per phone is more easy to manage.
Normally you have only so many phones assigned to a specific server.

Sounds like a good idea for something to add to the issue tracker as a feature request.
