how can upgrade from 2.0.4 to 2.0.4rc1?

follow the UPGRADE document. It should be very easy for a 2.0.4 to 2.0.4.1rc2 upgrade.

Is there any safe unistall and rollback from 2.0.4rc2 to 2.0.4 incase something breaks after upgrade on my working installation.

Safest thing to do before the update is to backup all your data. The asterisk config files located under /etc/asterisk. The MYSQL database for VICIDIAL under /var/lib/mysq/asterisk. Lastly, the VICIDIAL files themselves.

On the subject of backups, take a look at the new ADMIN_backup.pl script when you get a chance.
