please help define a few things in database call_log table

Postby BenZM » Wed Jun 18, 2008 7:06 pm

Can anyone help me with what the exact meaning of the following is? they are all columns in the vicidial database call_log table, but am not sure on a few of them:

unique id
channel
channel_group (says different things, do not understand)
type (one of them is local - not sure what that specifically means)
extension (one in there that I do not have all the data on is 8365, I know that it means that
it is a custom VDAD transfer, but what is it in a practical sense?
number dialed
callercode
start_time
start epoch? what do all the integers mean
end time
end epoch? what do all the integers mean
length in sec
length in min

These are not in the manual!

Have asterisk 1.2, vicidial 2.0.4

Thanks in advance.

If I defined every one of the 1000+ fields in the databasein the manual, there would be no room in the manual for anything else :)

You want to look at the number_dialed field for the actual dialplan digits called when the call was placed.

start/end_epoch is number of seconds since January 1, 1970.

What are you looking to get out of analyzing this data?
