Im happy to inform you that I am on the process of uploading customized vanilla kernels in deb and rpm packages for CentOS and Debian, i386 and x86_64 builds, it will soon be downloadable in our company website http://www.sagisys.com/ as soon as the new version of the site will come up.

I am hoping to help those who want to use centos or are using centos and are encountering problems caused by the stock kernel.

The following kernels have already been configured for vicidial specially the Kernel Pre emption and the Real Time clock which is already set to 1000 MHZ and other tweaks mentioned in the scratch install.

All you have to do is dpkg -i or rpm -ivh to install the kernels and reboot your system.

I will also be posting an already patched version of asterisk 1.2.24 which includes all the patches mentioned in the scratch install, all you have to do is unpack and do a make and your good to go.

Will also be posting a video documentation on my deployment of vicidial in an all open source environment (agent workstations and servers).

This is our contribution to the vicidial project and to the whole open source community.

I would offer to look over the packages when they are done to make sure we do not see any problems in them.
If you want to send me the kernel you are using and the kernel config file I would check those as well since we see a number of problems even when the RedHat patched Kernels are recompiled with the corect settings.
