Dialer GETTING hang

Postby kolucoms6 » Fri Sep 05, 2008 3:00 pm

I have a vicidialnow on system with P4 3 Ghz and 2 GB DDR2 Transcend RAM and One External eth1 with Intel Chip 100/1000.

My dialer get broadband internet from 1 mbps line on eth0 which is 10/100.Eth1 is used for Internal lan.

But I am experiencing frequent dialer hangs...

Any Suggestion ?

My tech guy said RAM is faulty. But I tried with both RAM and both RAM cant be faulty(chances are less).

Dialer gets hang when guys are on call. U can say every 60-90 mins.

You didn't answer Matt's question on how much is your load average before and when it happens.

Open a console in vicidialnow. walk up to it and login or get putty for your windoze puter and ssh in.
you can type 'top' and watch that..
or type 'uptime'.

If your system is telling you that you're out of memory, then there is a problem. Maybe try to wipe CentOS and try another Linux distro since the default drivers in VICIDIALnow might be causing you problems.
