New install of Vici dial. I followed the scratch installation pretty much to the t without any errors.
Admin section works fine.

When trying to log into the agent page I recieve the error;
Sorry, your phone login and password are not active in this system, please try again:

No other visable errors appear in any of the log files

phone shows up fine in sip show peers

One other anomolie that appears (find while trouble shooting and may or may not be conjunctive) is when I try and run scripts in the bin/AST_DB_optimize.pl
I get:
DBD::mysql::st fetchrow_array failed: fetch() without execute() at bin/AST_DB_optimize.pl line 269

Any assistance would be duely appreciated

Is the phone in the phones table in VICIDIAL?

I am following the admin manual step by step and it does not refer me to a phone table.

I am new to vicidial.
I have followed every step to the letter.

Can you kindly elaborate on "phone tables"?

Your phone needs to be added in the admin.php interface in the Admin -> Phones section.

There is a section in the manual about this.
