Hi Matt, In Predictive Dialing there is no ring but the call

Postby xedlinux » Mon Oct 13, 2008 10:26 pm

Hi matt, when i am calling tru predictive dialing, all our agents cant hear any ring even if the asterisk cli out says its ringing....

Then if the call is answered the conversation is going on without hearing any ring the call is initialized. This is very frustrating to our agents. Can you help me with this Matt.

Actually i have bought the manager and agent manual.

thank you.

I know on Cisco the cmd to fix this problem is 'tone ringback alert-no-pi' maybe asterisk has something liek that ?

What you posted doesn't look like predictive dialing. and if you are predictive dialing the agents would not hear ringing at all.
