LEAD FIELDS PROBLEM==>

Hi i would like to ask- i try to load leads with format = BUSINNESSNAME, PHONE, STREET ADDRESS,CITY,STATE & ZIP. All fields are included but the problem with my new campaign the format of my leads is this : FIRSTNAME, LASTNAME, ADDRESS1,CITY,STATE,ZIP,PHONE & CARD TYPE, LAST DIGIT i had two fields cannot be input the CARD TYPE & LAST DIGIT._ how am i going to include it to the fields for my dial.

How are you loading these files?

there are enough fields for this data.

hi i load the data by this:

First thing is i add a campaign then make a list with a list ID- on the List menu i load new leads then browse for the CSV file_specify the list ID click custom then submit..

On the processing CSV file menu there is a vicidial column and a file data- for example i select phone with phone, i select address with address but my problem is there is no field such as
CARD TYPE & LAST DIGIT which are present to my lead format.

can i add categories like CARD TYPE & LAST DIGIT. how?

Are you using the security, alt_phone, address3 or vendor ID fields?

no im not using that category....i only use mostly the phone, address1,state,zip,& name...

Is there a way that i can load my leads with the CARD TYPE & LAST DIGIT field be included...

If you want to, you can put CARD TYPE in the alt_phone field, and LAST DIGIT in the address3 field, then (if you feel the need) you can modify the php screen to change the names of these fields so your reps know what the data is.

Changing the names of the fields on the screen is entirely optional unless you feel that your reps will not understand otherwise.

Another method that I have used would be to put this information in the "Notes" field and preface each field with it's name, thus:
Card Type: <<data>>
Last Digit: <<data>>
Which would not require changing the screen at all and would allow for future expansion to add even more data.

---sorry for not getting the idea but how im going to implement this other method? waht you mean Notes-filed & preface.. can you expound a little bit the idea.

the fields are mapped either by the "beta loader" or by putting them in the right order and using the plain importer.

put both fields in the one field that will load into the notes field (you will need to use excel or another program to modify your data) and add the text "Card Type:" in front of the card type data so that it will be identified in the notes field. and then add "Last Digit:" and the data from the "last digit" field. this will result in the display I've given you. i have clients who do not have a tech on staff who pay us $5 per list to load their leads for the first week or two of operation so they don't need to learn this. it's very easy to do, but someone does have to load the leads.
