Noob - and lost

Postby ced » Mon Dec 08, 2008 10:39 am

Hello,

I am working on setting up VICIDIAL for my first time in a test environment on a small server.

I will prefix this with it is my first time using Linux etc... So a real newbie here.

Anyways - I am having issues with the Apache setup as I follow the "from_scratch" document. I have been reading and attempting different fixes - but have finally broken down and am asking for assistance.

When I attempt to start Apache - below is my error.

root@phone:~# /usr/local/apache2/bin/apachectl start
Syntax error on line 234 of /usr/local/apache2/conf/*ttpd.conf:
Cannot load /usr/local/apache2/modules/libphp4.so into server: /usr/local/apache2/modules/libphp4.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I did look in the directory - and the only file I see in there is *ttpd.exp

In installed version 2.0.6.1

Should I attempt to do the Apache install again?

Thanks for the help and direction.....

CD

the "*" is an "h" - so the forum would let me post the question.
