hi currently im doing outbound calling on my vicidial system...and now i have new requirements which is call blinding transfer...how do i set this up to my working vicidial system..

hi this is the scenario..im an agent then ill call a client then i have to transfer the call to a remote verifier person to check the details while the client is on hold. then after its verified the client will be completely connected to the verifier they will be handling the closing end of the call.

here are the steps:

-->The agent call a client based on the leads loaded to the vicidial server
-->when the agent stablished a call and get a good deal..the client will be transfered to the campaign verifier which is located remotely...
---> the agent will contact the remote verifier while the client is hold..
-->then when its ready..the client will be completely transfered to the verifier..so the agent could call another client...

That is not a blind transfer, that is a consultative transfer.

The SVN trunk code is much more stable than the 2.0.4 branch code for doing this.

what you mean by this SVN trunk code.....? you mean the asterisk packages and version...update it again...?

my setup is SIP/softphones.... able to tranfer call through vicidial....

VICIDIAL has it's own SVN repository that is where all code is stored and revision control takes place.

SVN "trunk" is the stable development branch of the VICIDIAL code base and is what all of are clients are running. The code in there is more up to date than the 2.0.4 release branch, but it is constantly being updated and there are no manuals for this trunk yet.

If you have the manager's manual and use a "closer", this is a function that vicidial was designed for.
