Hi,

I am using ChanSpy application for sip barging with vicidial.
But, During the barging , voice break occurs.
I am using X-LITE SOFT PHONE for barging.
I allowed only ulaw and alaw codec.

I am using this type of dial plan:-

exten => 71,1,ChanSpy(SIP/6001)
exten => 71,2,Hangup()

exten => 72,1,ChanSpy(SIP/6002)
exten => 72,2,Hangup()

exten => 73,1,ChanSpy(SIP/6003)
exten => 73,2,Hangup()

................ and so on.

If anyone have experience with sip barging, Please help me.

We recommend using built-in blind monitoring with VICIDIAL:
0 + sessionID, or on older releases 6 + sessionID

chanspy on 1.2 have problems based on my experience. I think this was fixed on 1.4 as we have an asterisk installation with 150 agents logged on queue and chanspy works like a charm.

We have still seen Asterisk 1.4 have issues with ChanSpy locking up a system, although it is nowhere near as common as it was under 1.2.
