Call Charges

Postby binbash » Fri Feb 27, 2009 2:07 pm

Im new with vicidial and wanted to inquire this as a general support question ...

If i am doing autodialing, ... and a call comes in ... so i am charged with the rate of that call
Then i do a transfer conf, .. so i'm charged with that other call ....

Question ...

If i leave the 3 way conference, ... and both the customer and the closer is making a conversation, .. am i still charged for that call ????

Any answer would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

Yes, you will be billed for the call because it is being bridged on your system and it is going through your carrier. If you do blind transfers there are ways of getting yourself out of the billing, but they are not alwyas easy to set up and it depends on your carrier.

Yup Thanks, .. i was thinking about the logic behind bridging, .. and i realized, .. if i leave 3 way, how will the telco divide the charges between the remaining parties, .. especially if they're not from the same carrier.
