Inbound Calls Not coming to vicidial.php

Hi Gurus,

I am using asterisk-1.4.0 and astguiclient-2.0.5. I have configure my DID as per instructions given in Tutorial C. I want to configure DID in such a way that when customer calls on that DID, than it should reach to agent who has logged into vicidial.php.

Right now DID call is reaching to asterisk properly but it is not able to reach vicidial.php. When it is reaching asterisk it is giving below error.

Got SIP response 603 "Declined" back from <DID Provider IP>

This looks like a carrier issue or a configuration issue on your side

HOw should i know whether there is prob. with carrier or with configuration. I follow Tutorial C of manager manual which i have purchase from eflo.net

Please suggest me how to know what problem is there.

You could always call your provider and ask them WHY they declined the call. Or you can inspect your SIP packet (with SIP Debug) and get seriously deep in "debuggin" yourself. Or both.

When i register that DID from my softphone its working fine. But when i put in database it`s giving me above error. Do i need to write any dial plan in extension.conf for inbound ?

What should i do now ?

I am a wee bit confused. Is this inbound or outbound?

When you make a call and you get a "603 Declined" back, the provider has received your request and ... refused it. This could indicate that the request was malformed or that the credentials were invalid.

So: Bad password, bad username, bad IP address ... but there is a reason they declined your call. Ask them what it is.

This is for inbound. Dial String is coming because when call comes to my asterisk from customer it execute above mention dial string.

what more info you require.

Is tutorial C enough to setup inbound campaign. Let me know if you require any more info.

The Tutorial in the manager's manual was all it took me for the first time to set up an inbound route. At the time, all I had experience with was Trixbox. It was not very hard, really.

You may want to start over and go through it slowly.

Also, just to be funny, be sure to read the stickies and list your entire software information (OS distro & version, asterisk, zaptel, astguiclient ...) and hardware information as well (RAM, CPU) and your server load. I know you listed some of it but it's a good idea to list all of it (I even recommend making it part of your signature so you CAN'T forget).
