Postby rishuk » Mon May 11, 2009 2:34 am

Hi,

I have installed vicidial 2.0.3 and asterisk 1.2.30. but when i try to login my agent phone doesnt ring and nothing on CLI.

i tried vicidial 2.0.4 and 2.0.5 also so i decided to go back to previous version.

here is screen output

[root@localhost asterisk]# screen -r
There is a screen on:
15936.pts-1.localhost (Attached)
There is no screen to be resumed.

all asterisk conf files are ok as i am using it in another server that is perfectly running

ztdummy is installed and ntp is also installed and working.

Please help

What install document did you follow? On what Linux?

Why don't you try ViciBox server? Quick & easy way to get you going right from Vicidial creators...

If you will be using this system for production keep in mind that none of the Red Hat family is recommended as Matt Florell has mentioned numerous times here, as well as the recommended asterisk versions from 1.2 branch is 1.2.30.4. You should also be using the latest astguiclient (2.0.5)- the list of improvements, fixes and new features is quite long.

As per your problem- recheck crontab entries. Recheck keepalive entries in /etc/astguiclient.conf file.
