Configure Caller ID for Single Trunk?

Is there a way to have Vicdiial set the caller ID based on the campaign? I know I can set a particular campaign with a trunk, but I was wondering if there is any way to do it within Vicidial so that a single configured trunk with multiple channels can be used.
Thanks.

Are you looking to set the callerID, the trunks used by a campaign, or both?
There are ways of doing both, but we need more information on exactly what you are trying to do.

Is the callerID setting in the campaign Detail screen for each campaign not working?

Actually, it does work! I just noticed that. Is that a new feature or have I just completely missed it in the past?
Is there a recommended format for text and the phone number to display that follows regular guidelines? I see that entering the number works, but text characters seem to be a different issue.
Thanks,
Chris

Are you in Canada, and using a PRI?
If not, there is really no need to worry about the CID name because only the CID number is sent with the call, the name is looked up on the phone network based upon the carrier that controls the number.

I have configured my campaign to use a specific Caller ID, but it is not working. Unknow or Private is showed when making calls to PSTN in USA.
Actually, using a Trixbox Server with IAX2 Trunk to make outbound calls.
Using Voicepulse as VoIP provider.
I have also tried configuring a Carrier (trunk) on the vicidial server, so we can make outbound calls directly from vicidial, but it is the same. Caller ID not working.
Do I have to change something in the Dial Plan ?
This is the Dial plan for the trunk:
exten => _5.,1,AGI(
agi://127.0.0.1:4577/call_log)
exten => _5.,2,Dial(${SIPTRUNKVP}/${EXTEN:1},,To)
exten => _5.,3,Hangup

Generally not good form to piggyback on someone else's post when your issue isn't virtually identical.
You mentioned Trixbox: is the Vicidial IN the Trixbox?
If it is NOT in the Trixbox you should look at your agi output or vicidial logs (/var/log/astguiclient) to find out what is happening.
if it IS in your trixbox, you may consider yourself very lucky, very few Trixbox installs work AT ALL, so you're ahead in the game. And it's likely that Trixbox is blocking something.
Otherwise: can you manipulate your callerid through conventional means in asterisk successfully?

I have vicidialNow in another box.
The log files indicates callerid is 8772890088, however, no callerid is displayed when calling to pstn numbers.

and you have tried a test using asterisk without vicidial to set callerid? (after all, it would be a shame if this had nothing to do with vicidial ... but one must check ...)
