CONFIGURING MULTIPLE SIP ACCOUNT

Dear Members,

I am able to configure one SIP account...

Please help me in configuring multiple SIP accounts eg. when I divide 15 seats to dial UK and 15 seats for Canada from 30 seater dialer.

I have only one server for 30 seats from which I need to configure 2 SIP accounts to dial UK and Canada.

They are referred to as "Carriers".

Go to: Admin->Carriers and create a new one for each of your VOIP providers. The Manager's Manual describes the entries, and there are examples listed.

Please read the Manager's manual, it is required reading for using this forum (and you will save yourself a lot of headaches).

in this system this menu is not avaliable please help me

If you do not have vicidial 2.0.5, I would recommend you upgrade to it (this would make the carrier menu available to you and make life much simpler). Or perhaps even just install Vicibox (excellent .iso install of the new version, from The Vicidial Group, the makers of Vicidial! Easy install, too!)

Failing that (fear of upgrade): You may create an entire new SIP trunk the same way you created your first sip trunk, in sip.conf or a file "included" into sip.conf. Then you modify your dialplan to allow dialing out through this new sip trunk.

There are samples inside the existing .conf files which you have with your downloaded vicidial package. There are also notes in the manager's manual for this sort of setup (yes, even in the free version). There are even notes in the .conf files themselves, an a dial plan entry already exists for UK calls to keep them separate from US calls without any serious work (look in the extensions.conf file you already downloaded for "UK").
