Hello All,

I have vicidial working on my system with the agent interface alright. However, whenever I try to dial in with another softphone from a remote, it does not have any effect and the call does not come in. Please I need to know how to dial in from the remote to the vicidial agent interface.

Could you please explain in more detail exactly what you are trying to do?

I have a working vicidial agent, I want to dial into it from any of the remote computer using a soft phone. I want my soft phone to dial into the vicidial agent as if I am a remote user. With this I can see how the incoming call in the agent web interface works

Can you register your softphone to the server at all?

Yes the soft phone is registered to the server. I want to believe that by registration, the soft phone appears as a phone in the phone list under admin section of the administrator's interface

Yes, and if the phone is registered all you need to do is dial the session ID in the agent interface to be connected as an agent. Or you could create a Phones entry for that account and just login to the agent interface using that phone and it should ring automatically.

Hi Matt,

Thanks for the immediate response. Highly appreciated. It did ring. What I want is a situation where the "NO LIVE CALL" status changes to "LIVECALL". Since I don't have a fxo card in the system, I want to simulate a live call.

Have you tried performance testing?

Is the performance testing list loaded on your system(60000 leads)?
