Hi - Are there any issues installing on top of Asterisk 1.6.1.4 ?

Yes, it won't work at all.

ViciDial is not compatible with 1.6.X yet because of the major changes made to the manager, dialplan, show-channels functionality and several other architectural changes that have so far made it less stable than 1.4.21.2. Until we have time to do all of this integration work and 1.6 becomes more stable under heavy use we will not support Asterisk 1.6.
