likely you have several agents logged in as the same user (awkward).

but then again, you haven't posted your setup or anything ... so it's really hard to say.

Start here: (of course hiring a consultant, such as PoundTeam, of which I am a Team Member; OR The Vicidial Group, who created and maintain and own this software, and who I am NOT, LOL, would be a good step to get going quickly, or ...)

Read the "stickies" at the top of each of the forums before posting in any of them (those are the messages that are old, but still at the top and say "sticky", they are required reading for each forum before posting).

Read the manual (FREE at EFLO.net, and there is a paid version that goes over some of the more "in-depth" stuff, an excellent investment if you are actually going to use this software to keep the money rolling into your business for the next several years). Also: required reading! (even if just the free version).

Then come on back and we'll help you out (FREE) here. If you need speed, though, or serious "walk-through" type guidance, consultation is a very good idea.

When you post, please include your Vicidial Version & Build (also your Vicibox or VicidialNOW version if you have installed one of the .iso's), and any OTHER software you have installed in your system. Don't forget to mention your basic hardware setup with your trunking method.

we most likely need to talk then

Hey William. I am just trippin out our IT guys are just not helping. They cite they are only IT not admin...and yet they can't help me set admin to make things work.

I don't even know what version we have and so on...so what do I need to do next?

I think I'm having a problem with the definition of "our IT guys". Do they work for you?

In a government job the "hey, that's not MY job" thing is expected.

In the world of IT (especially Linux!), there's no such thing as "not my job" and there is NO privilege of rejecting a task assignment.

So get someone who knows what they are doing and will accept the responsibility of taking the job from start to finish. Employee or contractor, if you are willing to pay them to do the work, they should be quite happy to accept the payment! LOL

All that being said (rant in response to obvious but implied complaint!), I'm happy to help. But I will need a bit more than what you've given to help out. A WHOLE LOT of information is missing.

If you need a place to begin, refer to my previous message: read the stickies, read the manual, learn the software, or hire someone to do it. The manual is on EFLO.net, it's free, and it's a great place to start if you are prepared to begin learning this software.
