Custom Campaign Rec Filename

Postby lmora » Fri Oct 09, 2009 11:13 am

Hi guys

My client is requiring me to name the recordings of validated sales with a specific ID that Quality Assurance agent will get from my CRM right after reviewing/correcting the capture of the sale but just before he starts to record.

So I would need the Quality Assurance agent to feed a field with a custom ID on each sale validated/corrected to be recorded.

is there any way to do this in Vicidial?

Thanks

Yes, have the agents enter the CRM ID and then write a batch process to change the recording filename at night. We have set up processes like this for several clients.

The problem is that Vicidial doesn't have a field to enter the CRM ID.
Unless I enter the record id into my CRM so I can bind both ids.

is that what you mean?

Any reason you wouldn't use Vendor Lead Code(Vendor ID) or Security phrase?

In ViciDial the recording name can only be set when it starts, not while it's recording. This is why we recommend writing a batch process to rename and possibly group upload audio files.

not really, just haven't thought to use any other field for this purpose.

I will take your recommendation though I have to figure out how to write a batch process like this.

Thanks Matt

There is an example of how to work with recordings in a nightly process in the codebase:
AST_CRON_GSM_SALE_recordings.pl
